A pre-washed, soft, merino wool + organic cotton buttondown shirt.
We imagine this shirt being the perfect post-surf or park day picnic piece - those types of days when you might get gross (unimaginable, we know) but still want to look good. Pressed merino wool is also great for travel. This shirt would be able to resist airplane / taxicab / transit stink, like a champ.
Fabric: The blend of New Zealand merino wool and organic cotton is odor-resistant and soft. We pre-washed the fabric to give it that broken-in, casual feel. Fit: The fit is a flattering straight cut that does not float away from the body. On the scale of billowy-uncle and hipster-skinny, this shirt sits right in the middle.
A soft buttondown shirt that uses fabric technology to wick moisture and keep you warmer than a traditional, cotton button-down shirt.
This shirt was inspired by windy days in San Francisco. You know, those “summer” days where it may or may not be warm in the sun but when that shade / wind combo hits and the fog rolls in, you’re wishing you had something else. With the hollow-fiber technology (see fabric description for more info), the shirt is as warm as a thin sweatshirt without the bulk or extra layer needed.
Fabric: High quality poly fibers are wrapped around a core, then in final stages of production, the core is removed, leaving a column of air that insulates your body (a wetsuit does something similar with a thin layer of water close to the body). The poly wicks moisture and is durable to make a shirt that can still look good after years of wash-wear-repeat cycles. Fit: The fit is a flattering straight cut that does not float away from the body. On the scale of billowy-uncle and hipster-skinny, this shirt sits right in the middle.
This ultrasoft, eco-friendly shirt is made of organic cotton (the perfect soft foundation for a shirt), recycled poly (for wicking moisture), and bamboo (for odor-resistance). To top it off, it's made in our HQ town of San Francisco, CA. Feel good, look good, and supporting local - the trifecta!

This jacket is our take on the ultimate combination of style and functionality. Our goal was to design and locally manufacture a sustainable jacket that fits equally well in the city and in the mountains. We started with a lightweight water-resistant woven fabric with a light texture, matte waterproof YKK antique-nickel zippers, seam taped the hood and shoulders and combined it all with a cut that is flattering for lots of body types.
The soft, quilted Primaloft interior will keep you warm while also releasing excess moisture to keep you dry. Add in microfleece lined pockets and this quickly becomes your casual Friday / weekend jacket (or everyday piece if you happen to be in the Bay Area). It's one of our favorite jackets and took years of painstaking development - what can we say, we are perfectionists.
We designed this jacket because we wanted a do-it-all jacket with a durable but refined design. When we searched the perfect jacket we found wool peacoats on one end of the spectrum and super technical jackets on the other. We just wanted something to walk to dinner, bike through the foggy city, and ski with friends over the long weekend.
Fit: Straight cut with a very slight taper, drawcords at the bottom for adjustability. There is a gentle stretch in the fabric for a flattering fit and a 1/2" droptail back that adapts to any bending, reaching, biking, or high-five action that could take place during your day.
The fabric and trim choices are all made as a refined version of a traditional "hardshell" performance jacket. From the blended crosshatch pattern in the exterior fabric to the soft next-to-skin quilted interior, the fabrics are all selected to give a rich feeling. The zippers were given a design upgrade by using matte waterproof reverse coil zippers with wide, oval antique-nickel zipper heads from YKK Japan, allowing for water-resistance, style, and functionality even with gloves on. The collar height was designed to look good zipped or unzipped, and the zipper flap at the top of the main zipper protects the neck from sharp zipper edges.

Merino wool is one of our all-time favorite fabrics, not only for the soft feel of the fabric, but for the long list of natural performance aspects. For an upgraded long-sleeve henley that you can run in, sweat in, travel, and wear multiple days in a row without retaining odor, to us, there's no better material.

We specifically chose this merino wool for it's extremely comfortable feel, richness of color, and honestly, for not looking like a normal technical shirt. Designed for versatility, we intentionally made the stitching subtle to allow it to seamlessly go from the trails to dinner in town without losing a step. This particular merino wool fabric has some serious technology under the hood as well. The fiber is a nylon core with ultrafine strands of merino wool wrapped around it, giving the shirt both durability and softness. This is unique, because generally the finer (and softer) the merino, the more prone it is to breaking. Another magical (we think) quality of merino wool is the naturally anti-bacterial and anti-microbial properties that prevent it from retaining odor (even after days of continuous use). We find this makes it a perfect shirt for traveling light and, dare we say, the only shirt you need to pack.
