A soft buttondown shirt that uses fabric technology to wick moisture and keep you warmer than a traditional, cotton buttondown shirt.
This shirt was inspired by windy days in San Francisco. You know, those “summer” days where it may or may not be warm in the sun but when that shade / wind combo hits and the fog rolls in, you’re wishing you had something else. With the hollow-fiber technology (see fabric description for more info), the shirt is as warm as a thin sweatshirt without the bulk or extra layer needed.
Fabric: High quality poly fibers are wrapped around a core, then in final stages of production, the core is removed, leaving a column of air that insulates your body (a wetsuit does something similar with a thin layer of water close to the body). The poly wicks moisture and is durable to make a shirt that can still look good after years of wash-wear-repeat cycles. Fit: The fit is a flattering straight cut that does not float away from the body. On the scale of billowy-uncle and hipster-skinny, this shirt sits right in the middle.
A pre-washed, soft, merino wool + organic cotton buttondown shirt.
We imagine this shirt being the perfect post-surf or park day picnic piece - those types of days when you might get gross (unimaginable, we know) but still want to look good. Pressed merino wool is also great for travel. This shirt would be able to resist airplane / taxicab / transit stink, like a champ.
Fabric: The blend of New Zealand merino wool and organic cotton is odor-resistant and soft. We pre-washed the fabric to give it that broken-in, casual feel. Fit: The fit is a flattering straight cut that does not float away from the body. On the scale of billowy-uncle and hipster-skinny, this shirt sits right in the middle.
This shirt uses sustainable hemp and combines it with a recycled poly for moisture-wicking, odor resistance, and a look at fits into any happy hour.
We wanted to prove that hemp is not just for hippies - that wearing sustainable fabrics doesn’t have to compromise a work-day, urban style. This shirt is different while not being outlandishly so.
Fabric: We are secretly hippies (we love trees) but don’t always love the feel or look of hemp. That is, until we found this version, which is both rugged and refined. Fit: The fit is a flattering straight cut that does not float away from the body. On the scale of billowy-uncle and hipster-skinny, this shirt sits right in the middle.
